5 reasons to postpone your PMP application

1.  The PMP exam content and pattern is changing by January 2021
2. The new exam content is totally different from the present exam content
3. The focus is on hybrid project management, where as the current exam content focuses on Predictive (Waterfall) model.
4. The Project management body of knowledge is undergoing a major revision
5. The Project management body of knowledge (PMBOK Ver 7) is scheduled to release during early 2021

Considering all these facts, my advice is to postpone your PMP exam application till the new exam and the new PMBOK ver 7 are launched. That does not mean that one should start their study now. The foundations of project management are not going to change. So, instead of focusing on the structure, if, one can focus on the knowledge content, while studying, that will be still useful.
